The DreamCourt story
A grassroots initiative built around access, consistency, and care.
DreamCourt began with a simple observation: many young people want to play, improve, and stay active, but do not always have consistent access to court time, structure, or encouragement.
Rayyan created DreamCourt as a volunteer initiative to meet that gap in a grounded way — show up, organize space, lead skill work, and build a culture where kids feel welcomed and respected.
From the beginning, the purpose has been bigger than basketball alone. The court becomes a place to practice discipline, confidence, teamwork, healthy routine, and community responsibility.
About Rayyan
Founder-led from day one
Rayyan Safyy is a rising high school senior and a committed basketball player who understands how powerful the game can be when kids have time, space, and people who believe in them.
Instead of waiting for the perfect program to exist, he started DreamCourt and continues to shape it by planning sessions, thinking through growth, and building trust with families, volunteers, and potential partners.
His long-term goal is to help DreamCourt grow into a stable community resource and to explore whether it can eventually become a school- or district-backed opportunity. That exploration is a future aim, not a present claim.
